I had an incredible experience here with a friend recently. I highly recommend the grilled mackerel!
All of the banchan and the purple rice were spot on. The service was excellent, the owner conversational.
Will return!

Excellent service, delicious food, and incredible quality! The kimchi jeon, dolsot bibimbap and beansprout soup were my favorites

I really really love the food here! This is my favorite restaurant in LA with authentic Korean food. It is homey and comforting with outstanding flavors. The service is amazing. Although they're mainly Korean speakers, their menu has a full description of all the traditional Korean dishes. The restaurant is spacious and I'm surprised it doesn't get more packed.
Definitely try it out!

Found this restaurant while walking and decided to give it a try. Was not disappointed. I got the Galbi Tang and it was delicious. Broth had the right amount of spices to enhance the tender short rib meat. The sides were delicious as well. The kimchi had the right balance. It was spicy but not sour. I got extra kimchi. The best part I would say was my experience. The ladies were so kind and attentive. You get delicious food topped off with excellent customer service!!

BLOWN AWAY. Was working in Ktown and came upon this gem. I've been a Korean food fanatic for over 20 years and eaten at many spots here in Ktown and all over LA. Can't believe I never came upon this authentic "Mom n' Pop" spot. Sundubu is amazing, Bibimbap is legit, banchan is on point, authenticity and charm makes this place perfect. AND so many other items on the menu that look enticing.
The chef's son painted the walls with some beautiful Korean landscapes as well.
Do yourself a favor: COME HERE!

If you like Korean food this place has the best home style Korean cooking in LA. Also their tofu soup is Mike's better than your usual spots like Surawon. The store itself feels like home, but service can get busy during lunch time. Have some patience :)

Food and service are amazing~! Soy bean stew is my favorite food here. I strongly recommend this restaurant and I also should come back soon.

Food was great and authentic. I asked for extra rice and they didn't charge extra. Service was great as well.
